How the PIR Motion Sensor Works

The Passive Infrared sensor detects changes in infrared radiation within its sensing area. When a person moves within the detection range, the sensor triggers the connected light or electrical load.

After movement is no longer detected, the output automatically switches OFF after the preset delay.

This makes the module useful where lights need to operate automatically without requiring a conventional wall switch.

Light Sensitivity Control
