The WS2812B NeoPixel LED Strip 5V 60 LEDs/m – 1 Meter is a compact, individually addressable RGB LED strip designed for DIY electronics, Arduino projects, ESP32, ESP8266, IoT, robotics, decorative lighting, and creative lighting applications.

This 1-meter WS2812B LED strip features 60 individually addressable RGB LEDs, allowing every LED to be controlled independently to create vibrant colors, animations, gradients, chasing effects, rainbow patterns, and other dynamic lighting effects.

Operating at 5V DC, the strip uses a digital data signal and can be easily controlled using popular microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and compatible addressable LED controllers.

Power Supply Requirements

The WS2812B operates from a 5V DC power supply. Power consumption depends on the number of LEDs, brightness level, and colors being displayed.

For the 1-meter strip containing 60 LEDs, use a stable and appropriately rated 5V power supply.

For best performance:

  • Use a regulated 5V DC supply.
  • Avoid exceeding the recommended voltage.
  • Ensure correct polarity before powering the strip.
  • Connect the controller ground and LED strip ground together.
  • Use suitable wire thickness for the required current.
  • Do not power the strip from an unsuitable or overloaded USB source.

Important: Applying a voltage higher than the specified operating voltage can permanently damage the WS2812B LEDs.

This WS2812B LED strip has an IP20 rating, which means it is designed for indoor and dry environments.

It is not waterproof and should not be exposed to:
